The frame for such an exhibition stand is made of an aluminum profile of silver, gold, black or white. Inside the frame are inserted plastic sheets (PVC), pasted with full-color printing or decorative film.
The photo shows a fairly light, inexpensive and pretty exhibition stand that we built in Frankfurt (Germany) for the Borshchagh chemical and pharmaceutical plant. The frame of the stand is made up of a golden profile, inside it is inserted plastic sheets decorated with gold and burgundy films. By the same technology, the lower part of the exhibition stela is made (in the foreground of the photo). Floor covering - exhibition carpet, glued to the floor on a double-sided scotch (otherwise it will roll down and jam).
In disassembled form, this stand is a set of profiles of various lengths and a dozen plastic sheets ("stitching", as it is also called the builders of exhibition stands). Exhibition stand, pictured in the photo, fits in the cargo "Gazelle".

The figure on the right shows the cross section of the most popular types of aluminum profiles, from which a fairly wide variety of exhibition stands and commercial equipment can be built. It is from such a profile that the standard trading equipment is manufactured - shop windows, counters, racks, etc.
Advantages of the stand from the profile are "reusability", relatively small weight, ease of transportation and assembly, low price. Disadvantage - a specific appearance (visible skeleton), low strength "walls" of plastic.
