Volumetric letters from masters of their craft

A separate section of our portfolio is interior signs. Each of them is a work of art and the result of painstaking work of a constructor, designer and layout designers. After all, each company wants to get the best interior sign for itself and carefully approaches the design and choice of materials.

Logos, slogans, branch maps, image posters - the list of interior advertising is endless.

The cost of creating interior advertising is not small, because such advertising is perceived close, which means that all the details must be processed and adjusted with high quality, which requires significant work of experienced layouts.

There are the following types of internal advertising: lightboxes, volumetric letters and their combinations.

Production of volumetric letters in Kiev

The traditional way of making three-dimensional letters is the "soap dish" principle. After the client, together with the designer, has chosen the font and size of the lettering, the designer prepares drawings for milling the outline of the letters on a CNC milling machine. The breadboard models are glued to the resulting blanks. In the back of the letter, the side is needed to stiffen the backdrop and to glue the LED strip to it. Considering the unimportant adhesive layer of tapes supplied to Ukraine, we additionally glue it to the board with hot melt glue.

The front collar is used to add volume. If a luminous face of a volumetric letter is supposed, then the front part is made of milky acrylic, if there is a need for backlighting, the front part is made of PVC.

With the help of a controller, the LED strip can be dimmed, and in the case of an RGB strip, the color of the letter can be changed.

The most insidious backlighting is backlighting. Its brightness depends on the color of the wall, the location of the sign in the room, and the illumination of the room.

Therefore, we recommend setting the dimmer for backlit signs.

The cost of the sign is also influenced by the material for making the board. The board can be impenetrable. In this case, it is simply rolled up with a film in the desired color. Or maybe light. Then it is made of milky acrylic and also tinted with a film in the desired color.

Acrylic is molded much harder and takes longer than PVC, so the cost of letters with a light board is much higher than the cost of light letters with an opaque board.

The letters can also be made pseudo-volumetric - i.e. have a thickness equal to the thickness of the cut material. Most often, this method of making letters is resorted to in order to save money. The largest choice of material is 3mm thick. It is AKP, transparent or colored acrylic, PVC. But in the line of PVC and acrylics, you can also find materials up to 20mm thick, or you can splicate several materials to achieve the desired thickness.

Combinations of thick transparent acrylic cut with a laser and colored acrylic or mirror acrylic or ACP look very nice.
